Return to Bloom
Rematerialising spiritual
traditions of self-healing
through kinetic sculpture.
Healing is not a destination, but a
continuous return—an ongoing rhythm of
presence and renewal. Return to Bloom
draws inspiration from the Balinese
“canang sari” tradition, a daily offering
that seeks to balance the physical
and spiritual realms.
“After losing my father and not having
had the chance to say goodbye, which
profoundly impacted my grieving
process, I found solace in the ephemeral
bloom of Magnolia figo. Its fragrance and
its shape, a delicate blend of love and
loss, became a delicate symbol of my journey.”
Crafted from bioplastic and metal, this
kinetic sculpture embodies the dualities
of impermanence and resilience—when death
and renewal, intertwined. Through its
gentle movement and the quiet space
it creates for self-reflection, the piece
encourages us to pause, breathe, and
awaken within, offering the experience
of a new spiritual ritual.
The Cycle of Belonging
An interactive sculptures use
biometric data to bring
quiet materials into motion
harmonising the living and the still.
Inspired by traditional Balinese lontar crafts
and ceremonial fans, which are often used
to enhance ceremonial dance, the fan dances
in rythm of the wearer’s heartbeat. It creates a subtle, dynamic connection between the two. it transforms the fan into a breathing extension of the wearer.
By incorporating piezoelectric sensors, I explore the translation of kinetic energy—from human to non-human, from heartbeat to motion. The intention is to generate movement
through the body’s own rhythm, minimizing external energy use. It’s not yet perfect, but the mechanism is in motion—
progress is unfolding, and with it, a quiet sense of hope.
Heat-Hijacked
Engineering Garlic to
Harnessing Body Heat for
Sustainable Temperature Regulation
The Heat Hijacked project is an innovative exploration
into sustainable temperature regulation through the creation of eco-friendly garments designed to capture and repurpose body heat.
This project, developed in collaboration with Canada Goose, addresses the growing demand for energy-efficient solutions in fashion, offering a radical departure from traditional heating technologies.
By integrating high-porosity materials such as garlic-derived biopolymers, Heat Hijacked garments are engineered to absorb, store, and redistribute body heat, minimizing the need for external energy
sources.
The project aims to create a natural temperature-regulating system that aligns with the principles of sustainability and environmental conservation.

An accessory collection that breathes life
into the quiet spaces where love lingers,
inspired by the sacred flowers that once
flourished in a place of deep significance.
presence and absence. "Sada Puspam" is a collection that breathes life into the quiet spaces where love
lingers, inspired by the sacred flowers that once flourished in a place of deep significance;
Magnolia figo (Cempaka Mulya),
Ylang-ylang (Kenanga),
and Moth orchid (Anggrek Bulan),
Each bloom whispers of a story untold,
a fragrance that lingers in the heart,
weaving together a tapestry of remembrance
and renewal.
This collection draws from the essence of an enduring presence—gentle as the scent of Magnolia figo,
a subtle comfort that remains long after it
fades. The graceful form of Ylang-ylang evokes
the quiet strength of a guiding hand, a nurturing spirit that embraces and uplifts. And the Moth
orchid, with its elegant, resilient blooms,
stands as a symbol of beauty that endures
through time, flourishing in the spaces where
light and shadow meet.
Just as flowers return to grace the garden year after year, so too does the essence of what we cherish continue to bloom in the heart. Each piece in this collection is a quiet homage to the resilience of beauty and love, a reminder that even in the face of absence, there is growth, there is renewal, and there is a connection that never fades.
"Sada Puspam" transcends adornment, serving as a living metaphor for the cycle of life, love, and memory. As you wear these pieces, may they gently evoke the echoes of the past, celebrate the beauty of the present, and honour the eternal bloom of love and memory that knows no bounds.
